
Dr. Chanell Dingle-Sermon, born in Columbia, S.C., is an award-winning educator, minister, life coach, the founder of her own nonprofit organization, Kappa Epsilon Lambda Royal Christian Sorority, Incorporated and the very first Miss I AM H.E.R. International. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Education (B.S.) from South Carolina State University, a Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning with a General Education Cognate (M.Ed) from Liberty University, and a Doctor of Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction (Ed.D) from Capella University. She has a show on the Kingdom Purpose T.V. network titled, “Royal Empowerment” which is among the top five shows viewed on the network’s web app. She is also an all-around queen that won pageant titles on the state, national, and international levels including Miss I AM H.E.R. International for the I AM H.E.R. International platform founded by Dr. Derashay Zorn in 2018. H.E.R. stands for “Healed, Empowered, and Resilient” which reflects the story of how Dr. Sermon overcame years of emotional and psychological trauma and abuse. She shares her experiences to help others come out of their situations much quicker and to keep them from making the same mistakes she made. Dr. Sermon’s aim through all of her roles and ministries is to empower others to become better versions of themselves.
