Born in Atlanta, Georgia, to Loraine Rich and Joe Nathan Gardner, she has emerged as a wife, mother, grandmother, and a true icon in the world of magazines. With a strong passion for the well-being of children, Dr. Dashiell’s remarkable journey has seen her earn multiple degrees and accolades, all while touching the lives of countless young learners.Education and Expertise: After completing her schooling at Doughty County Public schools, Dr. Dashiell graduated from Monroe Comprehensive High School in Albany, Georgia in June 1993, fueled by a deep desire to become an educator who truly cares about children’s well-being. Her thirst for knowledge led her to earn a doctorate in Christian education from Christian Bible College & Seminary in April 2016, followed by another doctorate in psychology from University at Dayspring in June 2019.

A Passion for Child Development:

Dr. Dashiell’s educational journey did not stop there. She continued to pursue her passion at Albany Technical College, where she earned various degrees that shaped her expertise in child care and early childhood education. In 2004, she became an Infant Toddler Child Care Specialist, followed by a degree as a Child Development Specialist in 2005. In 2007, she further enhanced her qualifications with a degree in Early Childhood Care & Education. Armed with her extensive knowledge, Dr. Dashiell obtained a Clinical Therapist License, allowing her to make a significant impact on children dealing with depression and anxiety.

Among her notable achievements, she received the prestigious 2023 President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joseph Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Additionally, she has been recognized as Counselor of The Year, Educator of the Year, Pioneer of the Year, and Freedom of The Year, winning consecutive I AM HER INTERNATIONAL AWARDS from 2021 to 2023. Furthermore, her contributions have been acknowledged through accolades such as the 2022 ICON HOINSER AWARD, the 2022 CREATOR OF SUCCESS AWARD, and the 2022 HOINSER AWARD, among others.Magazine Features and Hall of Fame Inductions: Dr. Dashiell’s remarkable journey has captured the attention of renowned magazines worldwide.
