On the eve of Mother’s Day, we’d like to introduce you to Anneline Coerecius, our Cover Queen for May.

First of all, you are a wife, mother, and entrepreneur; how do you balance it all?
I have a schedule. I am very intentional about ensuring that my family comes first, then my business. Sometimes, I delegate some of my meetings to my business partners, and I also have a very supportive husband that helps wherever he can.
Why did you choose entrepreneurship?
I admired the lifestyle and businesses of entrepreneurs while I was working for the South African Police Service. It was amazing to see how much freedom they had to do whatever they wanted whenever they liked. I wanted a life like that. I also have a big family and knew that it would be beneficial to us.
What was the turning point in your life?
For 15 years, I worked for the South African Police Service, and I felt stagnated. When my mother passed away in 2017, I decided to do something different. She was 68 years old and wanted to do so many things like explore the world but never got the chance. This hit me so hard and made me realize that I cannot die without living the life I want. I am also a mother of four, and my children needed attention. The stress from work and family challenges got too much for me to handle. Then, something happened; my husband got a job in Dubai, and it was a blessing in disguise. I had to resign from the Police Service. This allowed me to launch into a new dispensation in my life to achieve my dreams. I believe that what was meant for evil in my life became a real blessing.
Tell us about some of your business successes.
I have achieved the rank of Diamond Global Director within my company within 18 months. I have personally sponsored just over 100 people, and I have over 1000 members on my team. We have a spirit of ‘each one reach one.’ We stay in contact with each other and consistently motivate and inspire one another. My husband and I also have a Youtube Channel, where we encourage and advise business professionals around the world.
