Even as a millennial, I too was bullied especially while in elementary, junior high and a small part of my high school careers. There were times I dreaded going to school. Children (people in general) can be mean or jealous. I remember trying to be so kind/nice to my bullies. Sometimes it worked. Others times it didn’t. I kept being myself. My parents prayed a lot for me. As well as I. I eventually became popular. I found my voice in gaining the courage to speak up for myself & others that were being bullied, but sometimes it wasn’t easy. A lot of the times those bullies are dealing/battling with their own demons and bring those types of behavioral attitudes to school, etc.
Often times (back then while in school), I would inform the teachers, coaches, and principal as to what was going on and they looked out for me (including some of my friends, they looked out for me too. 🥰). Let us continue to pray for the bully as we pray for those who are getting bullied aswell. Social media has made bullying so much worse, but I believe if we continue to take a stand and get more involved by speaking up on platforms such as this and within our own communities we can bring more awareness to this epidemic and save more lives one day at a time. With Jesus on our side, we are more than conquers! 🙏🏾 Amen!
